A brief background on Samuel
Going through the Singapore education system in neighbourhood schools, from Jiemin Primary School to Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School to Anderson Junior College (now ASRJC), I entered National University of Singapore (NUS) under the NUS Undergraduate Scholarship. I majored in Electrical Engineering and minored in Technopreneurship. While in NUS, I interned at Data Storage Institute (DSI) for 3 months and at a start-up in Silicon Valley (California, USA) for 1 year. While in the US, I also had the opportunity to read modules in Stanford University.
I graduated top of my cohort as valedictorian from NUS with a major in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Technoprenership. In addition, I was also awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal, Institution of Engineers, Singapore Gold Medal and the National Semiconductor Book Prize for displaying excellence throughout the course of study.
I have written and edited books for Math and Science, in addition to writing blog on study guide. Visit my LinkedIn profile for a more complete list of awards that I have gotten.
